Michigan June Sunrise!

The early bird gets the worm so to speak – to translate – those who wake up early get the best sunrise photos, ha ha. We were in Michigan recently, and I could tell by the color of the bedroom that there was a spectacular sunrise waiting for me. I flew out of bed and straight outside to capture it. 📸

From where I was standing the sun was rising at the tip of Russell Island, near Algonac, MI. About where you see the sun rising is actually Walpole Island (Canada). The body of water is the North Channel. It’s beautiful fresh water, that has a 1.5 – 2 mph current, which doesn’t sound like a lot unless you’re swimming against it. #goodmemories

Happy week, it’s almost July, good grief!

👩‍💻 Until next time…
