This is the Farmdale Cottage (SL 1870) house plan by Spitzmiller & Norris for Southern Living. This plan is 2,057 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. I think this plan is especially sharp painted dark with a light metal roof. So classy, WOW! I adore the dormer at the top. This is a fabulous plan! Those of you who are familiar with James Farmer (author, interior designer and speaker) may enjoy THIS ARTICLE. What a fabulous plan!
Spitzmiller & Norris are residential designers with the most stunning house plans. Every single one is breathtaking. I was happy to see that they created some plans for Southern Living. Spitzmiller & Norris is located in Atlanta and they have won numerous awards, no surprise there! Read more about them via the link below!
The great room is located in the center of this plan with the kitchen off to one side side and the dining room on another. Since there is a breakfast area, I can really see using the dining area for just about anything. An extension of the great room perhaps, or a library with club chairs, bookshelves, and great lighting.
The master bedroom is separated from the second bedroom by the master bathroom and closet, making it a private oasis. The second bedroom is just a few steps away from a bathroom. The wonderful kitchen area has a pantry (cue the angels singing sounds!)
The upper level has a loft area, bedroom, bathroom and closet. There is also another option for this plan, and that is to enclose the loggia and replace the carport with the master suite. Oooh! I think I LOVE that option! Especially if you have more people in your house! Options… gotta love them!
