Lobster Traps – Monhegan, ME

I love how these lobster traps are stacked near the brewery on Monhegan. I realize they’re there for a reason and not just to look good, but… they form a wall of the coolest kind.

Monhegan, and even Maine in general is a lot like that. Items used for form and function and not necessarily to “look good”, but they do!

    1. Absolutely! Such a hard working profession – and yes, between the traps and the buoys, they just look so wonderful along the landscape – until they are used, then the landscape changes. So smart to use them for a reason while storing!
