It’s so easy to get too busy. We all have so much to do and not enough time to do it in. However, I think it’s really important to make time… for YOU! Easier said than done I’m sure!
However, just stopping to notice little things, sit outside for a few minutes each day (or your lunch break), close your eyes, feel the sun (or wind or clouds). They say that being outside each day is good for us and helps to lower stress because it lowers your levels of cortisol. Try to take at least 5 minutes for yourself. Sit outside (not looking at a device or talking on a phone). 5 minutes to “just be” – a simple meditation, prayer or just silence, listening to the nature around you. You will feel better after 5 minutes. Try to fit that into your daily routine!
