There are a few living artists that I look to for inspiration and Neal Hughes is one such artist, not only for his accomplished skill in his paintings but more for the journey he takes in exploring what interests him and following that instead of the herd. Lovely use of color, composition, atmospheric light, focus and delightful little surprises when you stay with the work for a moment. Thanks for the post Barbara!
