Charleston, SC is a magical city whether it be on foot or any other mode of transportation. I prefer to walk because there are so many wonderful photographs to be taken. Everywhere you look something demands attention – and a photograph.

I was at a half trot trying to keep up with my husband as we were headed downtown Charleston, SC. My problem is that I keep stopping and he keeps going and I’m trying to hustle, but… when I saw this vibrant sky, this very old gate, the palms – I had to stop.

I’m writing this pre-election results, even pre-election. Tension is high. So much is at stake. How will this all play out? I pray for the best. For the people, for the country and for each other.
