I posted a similar photo last week, before I moved furniture back to its rightful place, at least for the time being. What strikes me are the lines, the white/black starkness, but also the softness of the green reflections, and the beauty that the orange tulips bring and the beautiful light from a very old lamp.
Sometimes the most simple shots that you can take are the very best. Look around your house at something that makes you smile and try to capture it. Sometimes I get it, sometimes I don’t. Light moves quickly, especially in the afternoon.
These tulips have held on for a week now and they’re still going strong. One minute they’re beautiful and the next it’s petals on the table, ha ha. #timetoreplenish
Happy beginning of March to you. The pollen has arrived in the Lowcountry. The leaves are falling fast and furious (like fall for many of you in northern states). After the leaves we have the squiggles (what I call them) – they can get dry and turn to dust (aka pollen) – when people are having their yards done with powerful blowers you can see thick pollen blow like a cloud down the street. #runforcover
Get out and enjoy the beauty if you can!
✍️ Until next time…
