Despite the darkness, I am thankful…

We’re all in this together, right? Well, most of us…

Thank you, to those of you who commented via this blog, Facebook, Instagram, etc. on the post I wrote for Monday (6/27) – That post was tough to write. In the beginning I started out not divulging any information – just expressed my concern over the SCOTUS ruling. But it didn’t feel right. With each rendition I just sounded angry. I AM angry. I am in disbelief that the country I live in, the UNITED States – could be soooo UN-united. To have groups of people look down on others and determine their fate, the fate of so many women in this country is ludicrous.

I encourage you to share your story if you can. I caution you, it’s not easy – and you may not want to share, and you know what? That’s OK! No worries!

Despite the dark skies – we will get through this. I’m not sure how things will play out, but I do know that women are strong. We have tenacity. 🙏

So back to the positive posts: Every time I visit my family in Michigan there is a wild, crazy, dark sky, wind blowing storm. When I say wind blowing, we’re talking the umbrella in the backyard ended up in the river. So it flew over the house and quite a ways into the drink. This particular storm, there were two chairs and then there was one. Chair overboard. The wind picked it up and dropped it in the river. With such a swift current I would have thought it would have been long gone. My dad and I walked up and down the street looking over the seawall for it, and nothing! He checked later and there it was. The water was churned up so we couldn’t see it. How crazy! Then the dark skies blew away and we were left with a sunny day.

The sun will come out tomorrow… it’s got to. ☀️🙏☀️

👩‍💻 Until next time…
