What’s the hurry, right? I think we can all take cues from nature and slow down and enjoy this life that is zipping by so unbelievably fast. It feels as if the leaves were just falling (our southern spring) and then the hot days of summer were upon us. Now it’s the end of July (well, tomorrow!) and school supplies are on sale…
September is the height of hurricane season in South Carolina – so that will be coming soon… so thankful for a few quiet years! Our temps will start cooling off a wee bit (and I do mean wee) end of September, so that will be a treat. I write this as so much of this country has/is under a bizarre heat wave. I’m not sure how you can deny climate change. It’s real, and it’s not going away any time soon. I think if we can all do our part to help the situation (we switched to battery operated lawn devices several years ago and they’re amazing! I would never go back!)
I joked with a friend from Maine, saying the North appears to be the new South (temp-wise). It’s been crazy looking at the weather and see triple digit temps across the country, and have ours remain in the 90’s (triple digits with the heat index).
When it’s hot – take wise advice from a snail and take things slow. Drink a lot of water, get out early before the sun is strong.
👩💻 Until next time… Happy weekend!
Very cool!
