The stars were the show at this magical get-together. The sky was a gorgeous deep blue and it was filled with so many stars it was hard to fathom. At home, we have other homes and trees around us, so we can only see little pieces of the sky/stars… so this was awe inspiring – and very, very hard to leave. Soon the chairs had wonderful, interesting people filling them and stories were shared.

There is a magical place that exists in this world where you can stay in a beautiful setting 5,000 feet above sea level (which is saying a LOT coming from Charleston, SC – elevation 19′). Where you can have dinner in a stunning setting, with the very best of ingredients. And… you can end the day with a fireside chat with friends. The fire is built, the s’more ingredients are available (homemade marshmallows!) from your server after dinner. It was breathtaking and this photo doesn’t do it justice. Thank you Steven for a great time!

This magical place is called The Swag. I’ve mentioned it before because it is just SO breathtaking. I have many photos from our trips there and one is usually on my desktop, ha ha.

What comes across so clearly is that the owners (David and Annie Colquitt) care, truly care about this place and have made it over the top special. The General Manager, Will Jones – Wow, I have never seen an individual with such excellent people skills.
