It’s hard to believe 2022 is winding down and a new year is about to begin. So many changes this year. People we’ve lost and people we’ve met. We’ve been fortunate to visit a beautiful place (twice!) – and really crave the peace and tranquility that the mountains bring.
I hope the holiday(s) that you’ve celebrated have been wonderful, full of family or friends (or both!) or at the very least have given you a chance to relax and reflect. I try to think about all I have been blessed with and be sincerely grateful. Grateful for connections made with everyone from the mail delivery person, to the hairdresser to the person at the grocery store. Go forth and be a kind human. #treatpeoplehowyouwanttobetreated
Enjoy the remainder of 2022. Two days until New Year’s Eve – I would think your plans have been made – (or thankfully, not made, in our case, ha ha). I think we’ll relax and reflect on what 2022 brought our way, like our visit to Waynesville, NC that Fred surprised me with for our 30th anniversary/birthday celebration. #bestideaever I will never forget it. The image above is from our second visit in October (we caught a cancelation!) – taken at Gooseberry Knob. #happydance
👩💻 Until next time…
What a gorgeous sunset! My husband and I will have to check it out this spring. Happy New Year!
