Spring is definitely in the air here in Charleston. The mornings start out cool and refreshing, the afternoons heat up a bit, especially if you’re in the sun (with the exception of today which will be cooler, near 60 degrees and ☀️ – woohoo!) We are fortunate to be able to get outside during the winter. Charleston is an active place to live so people are always out and about.
Trees are budding, we’ve seen some azaleas blooming – and a line of pollen floating in the pool and on the windowsills outside. February = Pollen. Whew, it comes earlier and earlier every year it seems.
We had rain this past weekend so the resurrection fern is so green on the Live Oak trees – it’s incredible to watch it – so lush and green with rain, the slowly turn brown and crispy like it’s dead, then next rain, it’s lush and green. Quite the miracle!
It’s Saturday, woot woot. Whether that means going out on the town (not) or staying home enjoying the day (woohoo) – have a great weekend!
👩💻 Until next time…
