Altamaha River Cottage by Allison Ramsey Architects!

Charm, right? Pizazz! Love the door and the warm lighting (essential to me!). A welcoming porch to sit with your neighbors and catch up, read a book, or enjoy your coffee in peace. These architects create some fabulous Lowcountry plans, perfect for this area, or really anywhere. These plans fit nicely in an established neighborhood.

This is the Altamaha River Cottage (Variation 183127) by Allison Ramsey Architects! This plan is 1,880 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. I think this house has so much charm!

I love how you enter this home from such a magnificent front porch – you step into the living/dining/kitchen area, which is so nice. You then come upon the steps that lead to the second floor and if you continue down the hallway you’ll find the mud room that leads to a hallway and powder room and finally to the back door. On the opposite side of the back of this home is the master suite. A bedroom, walk in closet and master bathroom.

Upstairs you’ll find two additional bedrooms, each with a bathroom and walk in closet. The hallway upstairs would be a nice place to showcase paintings or photographs!

    Barbara,
I consider this plan an upgrade from Sugarberry Cottage. It is almost an exact duplicate floor plan but adds an additional bathroom upstairs. That would be a welcome addition for guests as well as a practical one for family. Thanks for sharing!

    1. You’re right, Sharon! This house plan is very similar to the Sugarberry Cottage (which I love!) – It’s nice to have an extra bathroom for guests, but what I love about your plan are the porches, front and side – Heavens! I don’t think I could give up the porches for an extra bathroom ;) Your house has so much charm and fits right in an established neighborhood nicely. It’s a beauty!
