BOOK Suggestion: The Lost Bookshop by Evie Woods

You know how it is when you run across a fabulous book – not just a really good book, but a different, interesting story that really uses the imagination. THIS is that book! Not to mention, I love the book cover, it couldn’t be more perfect (great job Lucy Bennett/Harper Collins)!

This isn’t a book review – just a suggestion if you’re looking for a great book that’s different and written by an Irish author (love the way Evie Woods writes). This is a book that can easily be spoiled with a review. It’s different, it’ll warm your heart at times – if you love to read – you’ll love this book. The only thing I can say is that I hated that it was over. It does go back and forth from 1920’s to present day.

Evie Woods is an amazing author – I love her bio (especially this portion):

Living on the West Coast of Ireland, Evie escapes the inclement weather by writing her stories in a converted attic, where she dreams of underfloor heating. Her books tread the intriguing line between the everyday and the otherworldly, revealing the magic that exists in our ordinary lives.

I don’t mention many books that I read – only the ones that make a mark and really stand out. This is a book I’ll keep to reread one day in the future. I am not a re-reader, so this is a rarity for me.

Do you have a favorite book? Let me know, I’m always interested in adding more 😳 books to my TBR (to be read) list on Goodreads.com!

📘 Catch you back here next time…

PS/ Happy May Day to my May Day King husband – growing up he was crowned 👑 🙌
