Who couldn’t go for this right now? Doesn’t it look divine? Well, let me tell you, this was mine a while back (not recently) and I savored every single sip. It was utter perfection. What is it about coffee that is such a strong pull? The ritual involved in making it, pouring and perfecting (or in this case just sipping!) – the scent of it… for sure! It’s not the caffeine for me because I can’t drink much caffeine.

It’s the flavor, the smell and it’s a habit. I pour the remainder of the coffee in the pot into a jar and refrigerate and drink it once it’s cold. I like 2 hot cups/day and the rest cold. Even in the winter. It’s funny, I use coffee cream in hot coffee and half and half in cold coffee. We all have our quirks, don’t we? Haha.
