Yes! A good (although rainy and stormy day) day – we headed out near Folly Beach to buy a pound of shrimp and while Fred was buying the shrimp I popped out on the deck and took a few photos. I LOVE taking photos at this location – it’s so beautiful – yet still, it’s a working fish company, The water was like glass…

There is nothing better than a cold shrimp cocktail, right on a hot day, right? Alongside we had cucumbers in Greek yogurt and fresh corn on the cob, which is oh so good this year. Fabulous dinner! Will have the same dinner again this week (maybe tonight, it’s a make ahead meal for the most part and it’s ready when you are, can’t wait!

What do you start to make for dinner when the temp starts warming up? We’ve had some beautiful weather (low humidity) but the party is over. Much warmer and more humid – so cool foods are a good thing. Salads, smoothies, pasta salads, cold soups, that kind of thing. Anything to keep the kitchen cool!
