The Power of a Flower!

Flowers make people happy. They just do. They’re stunningly beautiful whether they’re all by themselves or mixed with other flowers. There is no ugly flower to me. If we had dandelions I would even cut those and plop them into a cute, small vase. Who says those pretty yellow flowers are weeds, ha ha.

Flowers have the power to help make you feel better if you’re under the weather, they are a gentle reminder of a love and are sent at times of death to provide comfort. They are splayed all over the place for weddings, parties, funerals, you name it – flowers make it better. Think about it, the power of the mighty flower.

I can attest to their ability to help get you through a rough time. We recently lost our dog and going into the backyard was tough. There was no life. We headed out to find some pretty flowers to plant, something to liven things up. A few neighbors dropped off beautiful pots of flowers. I was overwhelmed, such a thoughtful gesture at a difficult time. You must know how important that is (thank you!). So if you get a chance… it doesn’t have to be a pot full of beautiful flowers, it can be a hydrangea from your yard in a vase, or just a card – just a little something to say “I’m thinking of you”. I try to be good about that… making someone smile. It means the world.

Flowers help immensely. Make flowers your super power! #dogood

🌼 Until next time…
