The Nightingale is a book that is so difficult to put down. It’s hard to concentrate on little else while you’re reading it. I recommend you give in and fully immerse yourself in Kristin Hannah’s story. The story of brave women and men, happenings during World War II and the situations you wonder how a human can endure for such a long period. There is love and light, darkness and pain but there is also intense hope and strength of women doing their part to save (and comfort) others. Please, do yourself a favor and read this book.

So, if you’re looking for a book that is very difficult to set down, this is an obvious choice! I love how Kristin’s books grab you from page 1 so there is no “trying to get into the book”. You’re sucked in and you can’t get out, ha ha. It’s wonderful to be able to escape so fully!
My review on Goodreads.com:
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ THE NIGHTINGALE by Kristin Hannah
The atrocities of war woven within a story bringing such emotion to the surface. Brave souls working behind the scenes to help bring others to safety. This is a book everyone should read. A beautifully written book of war and sacrifice. Love and loss.
The Nightingale – if you’re on the fence about whether or not to read this book – READ IT! You won’t be sorry.
