The King’s Counterpoint and the West Ashley High School Choirs

I love the wonderful opportunities in Charleston to see and hear wonderful art and music. My husband and I went to The Kings Counterpoint (KCP) free Christmas event at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. Was it ever spectacular. There were a few songs featuring the West Ashley High School Wildcat Chorale and the final song they all sang together. It was absolute perfection! Donations were gladly given – excellent performance!

Hate to say you missed this performance, but be on the lookout for the next time the King’s Counterpoint has a performance, don’t wait for a free one, they truly are that good! 2024 was their 11th year of doing free concerts. This description is the one we went to:

Travel with KCP from Medieval to Modern as we present Christmas music created across the centuries – it’s a program that everyone is sure to love! It’s our gift to you – we hope you’ll join us on this incredible musical journey!
