I love a good traditional house plan that has the ability to fit into an older neighborhood. This is a duplex option that doesn’t necessarily look like a duplex. I like that the left side of the duplex is set more forward. It has a porch on the side. The right side is set back with a porch on the front. This is the TNH-DU-01 house plan by MK Design Group. This plan is 1,055 square feet (per unit) and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It’s worth noting that the ceiling height is 12′ which adds to the grand feel of this duplex. Plenty of space to display your art!
The left side is labeled. The right side is the same layout, but as mentioned, set back and floor plan flipped. You enter from the porch (via the side door on the left, front door on the right). As you step into this plan you enter into the great room which is open to the kitchen. There is a utility room and closet as well as a side entrance. The master suite is on the kitchen-side of this plan. The second bedroom is on the utility room side of this plan.
