Morning light is the best, well, that and the golden light at sunset. In the morning sunlight streams into the dining room. I love the light in this room and the brief but stunning bits of light and reflection (details below). Little hints of the past in the form of paintings/sketches adorn the walls. This is a happy place.

It’s stunning how the Cesca chairs reflect their shadows onto the Saarinen Tulip table base. The light is fleeting in the morning. As in VERY fleeting. Here one moment and gone the next. I just happened to be in the next room reading and looked up and saw the light, grabbed my phone and took a quick photo.

My little “vase” of mint and rosemary with a few happy pink gomphrena flowers. What a joy! Mint and rosemary grow in water, so it lasts for a long time and once it roots I plant it and snip off another few pieces off the plant. #winwin
