Sometimes Life Throws in A Few Mountains…

We all have something that comes up in life that stops us in our tracks. Without naming names, let me just say someone who I love with all my heart is preparing to battle. I will be right by their side every step of the way because I know they would do the same for me without hesitation. That’s what love is. We have experienced so much kindness that I get teary eyed just thinking about it. Life (and people) can surprise you that way and it’s a warm and wonderful feeling.

NOTE: I started this post a while ago and didn’t have the energy to finish it. Healing has begun and that’s an awesome thing. The fight is constant but with many prayers, and an excellent surgeon (so thankful) we will get through this. It’s slow going but progress has been made, thank goodness.

Just think how many people are fighting this same battle. If you aren’t sure, let me tell you – you would be shocked. Literally. It touches everyone’s lives in one way or another. Having support makes a world of difference, and it would have been difficult to get this far without the support and love of family, friends and neighbors. Thank each and every one of you for your kindness! We are blown away.

If your life or your family and friends lives have not been touched by cancer, do what you can to help support those who are going through the struggle. Make a donation to fund research, help those who need it, or even something as slight as rolling your neighbors trash can in or out, or smiling and saying hello. #kindgesturesmeantheworld

I also would love to thank Steven Reinhold, Swag Expert In Residence, awesome realtor and the best hiking guide you could ever imagine, for this photo. It was taken a while back on a sunrise hike. We went a little farther than we originally planned and boy was it worth it. Thank you, Steven!

✨ Take a moment to be grateful for at least one thing today – TODAY will be a good day, you’ve got this!
