Isn’t this a charming house plan? I love everything about this plan. For one, the porches – divine! A nice covered porch across the front, a screened porch on the side and a smaller covered porch in the back. There is so much curb appeal with the handsome windows, stunning door with surrounding windows – this is perfection. Let’s take a peek…
This is the Little Barnwell house plan (203155) by Allison Ramsey Architects. This plan is 1,728 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. This is an open plan (kitchen/living) with a center hallway to the back. What a delight!
You enter this plan from a wonderful front porch with access to the side screened porch. You walk into the open living/kitchen area. Kitchen is on your right and great room with fireplace is on your left. It’s nice that you can enter the screened porch from not only the front porch but from the living room (as well as from outside). Just past the kitchen is the dining area, a perfect and useful space for homework, projects, meals and conversing with someone in the kitchen.
Past the living/kitchen/dining areas you’ll notice the master suite is on the right side of this home and the two additional bedrooms are on the left side of this plan separated by a bathroom. At the very end of the master suite there is a porch accessible from the bedroom and at the very end of the bedroom is a laundry room with a mudroom in between the two. Great use of space.
