January is almost upon us so we thought we would get a head start on health and fitness and head out on a fast walk. Somewhere different. We usually walk our neck of the woods, which is beautiful, but… It’s so nice to get out and walk somewhere different. Different views which are so nice! I had to do a good deal of walk/running to keep up with my husband because I kept stopping to take a photo…
I just had to share with you! This is in the “South of Broad” (SOB) area of Charleston, on the peninsula. Love the decorations – this is one gorgeous home. Love the window boxes and the patina of the stucco. It tells a story!
Hard to believe 2025 is coming to a close. Thankful to ring in a new year soon.
We ended our walk with grocery shopping, picked up some Atlantic salmon from Norway and an acorn squash. What a delightful dinner (we had as a late lunch). We also picked up part of the ingredients for a jambalaya recipe I’m going to try again. I made it once decades ago but followed the recipe and it was a bit shrimpy for us, using frozen shrimp when fresh is available, what was I thinking? Also, it made enough for an army (literally), so I’m scaling it back some too. Will let you know if it’s a success!
🏃♀️ Until next time… ✨ Take a moment to be grateful for at least one thing today – TODAY will be a good day, you’ve got this!
