It’s Saturday and the weekend is upon us. It’s also raining. Thank goodness! We have been in an extreme drought for some time now. We don’t want the farmers to lose their crops for the season and it was kind of looking like that might be what would happen. But… it started raining and I’m thrilled. There is an air show scheduled here in Charleston, SC for TODAY. The Blue Angels…

I haven’t seen that the show is canceled, I think they’re waiting to make that call. For the best of both worlds, I would be OK with the rain stopping during the show and then resuming. We need it. The animals need it. The plants need it. There’s nothing like rain water. And we’ve had the 2nd driest year in history… #yikes

For now, I’m sitting here writing this post and listening to the rain – it’s lovely. I’ve missed this sound.
