Ok, so despite the fact that I grew up in Michigan – I am now taking photos of fall leaves – like a tourist. Which is fine because I love that we’re so excited about the little fall nuances that have begun. The crisp air, warm sun and of course, the leaves changing colors. I’ve missed “seasons” for a long time (decades).
I’ve taken so many photos at Neff Park near us, we incorporate that detour into our walk, morning or afternoon (or both)! I feel like a kid when I’m on the pier watching the sun set. The orange reflective light dappling the boats in the marina – the water, sometimes looking more like an ocean and other times calm and serene, at least in the marina area. The flags whipping in the wind, the fresh air that I love so much. Hard to believe this is home now. #dreamcometrue
I’ll share with you more as we get settled. Whew, there is a lot to moving across country, that’s for sure. But, I highly recommend it – you only have one life, right? Time to get out and enjoy new places, people and things.
Happy weekend, I’ll get back to posting more often – I have a good pork chop recipe coming soon AND a fabulous book!
🍁 Until next time…
✨ Take a moment to be grateful for at least one thing today – TODAY will be a good day, you’ve got this!
