I’m way behind on reading – and you know what? That’s OK! I read for enjoyment and usually wake up pretty early to get some reading in, just not always as much as I would like – but my mind starts to drift about what I need to do and what to make for dinner (or lately, more like where to go), but it’s all good. It’s these little treasures I cherish, being healthy, having a good book, fabulous food and of course, my significant other!
Sometimes it’s nice to have a book that is entertaining with pleasant characters and not a suspense/mystery/thriller/deep thinker… this was that book, it’s pleasant, a joy to read, but it won’t keep you up at night and there’s something to be said for that, ha ha.
And yes, it’s fall and i’m reading a beach book – why not, right?
