We took a walk last night and passed a house that had nicely carved pumpkins. Black squirrels are nearly impossible to get a photo of (for me), they move nonstop. So, I thought it odd that it was still until I realized it was EATING the pumpkin.

Within a few seconds another squirrel joined in. Apparently their favorite part of the pumpkin is the seeds and pulp – but I read they will absolutely chew through the tougher exterior to get to the inside. Well, maybe I won’t have to carve our pumpkin this year, maybe it’ll be done for me. Ha.
