Snowed in? Clementine’s Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies a Ghirardelli recipe!

Clementine’s Cookies

What do you do when you’re snowed in? Temps are low and you live in a tropical state that isn’t accustomed to getting below freezing temps coupled with inches of snow (5″!!) – well… you go through your recipes and see what you can make with what you’ve got. As luck would have it, I found this recipe in my file that I last made a million years ago, I noted that it was EXCELLENT. I don’t say that too often.

I had the ingredients and this little project kept the kitchen toasty and the house smelling divine! This is a Ghirardelli recipe (my recipe was clipped off of the bag of chocolate chips – I’m thankful that it’s also on their website because it must have gotten tossed since yesterday, sigh! You can see this recipe on their website, or click HERE to print as shown below!

I like my cookies small and crisper, so I dropped them by the teaspoon vs. tablespoon as shown under “Tips”. They offer a nice crunch. AND normally I wouldn’t add cinnamon and nutmeg to a chocolate chip/oatmeal cookie, but it was so amazing, I wouldn’t leave that out!

Catch you back here tomorrow!

I will make these just as soon as we get back to Wakefield. I also am thinking about beef burgundy with noodles. Comfort food.
Geof’s party was quite the event. Catered. Two college boys serving all evening.
