Sari Shryack. This woman is not afraid of color, she’s also not sorry about using so much color. I don’t blame her! Her paintings pop all over the place. She paints wonderful scenes of all kinds. Still life, landscape, etc. I love “Pineapple Jam and Papaya Still Life No. 2” it has so much character. If you look at her images you’ll see that she painted over an old painting. I think when you do that it adds interesting colors where they may not otherwise be.

Read a bit about Sari, from her website:
Sari Shryack is an Austin-based painter focused on color and light in the ever-changing neighborhoods of her community. The city is constantly evolving into new shapes and colors, and Sari seeks to capture this process in her work. She is trained in acrylics and earned her BA in Fine Arts from Drury University in Missouri in 2014. She is also a mom to a two-year-old and finds time to be a full-time artist in between naps and frequent walks around Town Lake.
