This is what you do when you live on the river. Relax and enjoy. This is a photo I took when I was in Michigan – this is the St. Clair River. An oasis – a place where you can sit and relax and enjoy all the river has to offer.
While I was in Michigan visiting there were many (MANY) fisherman out and about. Every day. To watch the river and all that goes on is so interesting. Large boats, small boats, fast boats, slow boats and everything in between. So much better than TV! The ever-changing sky, the pop up storms and the cooler temps (along with the company) made it the best visit ever!

Wind has blown umbrella over 3 times and took a big chunk out of a chair. Relax and watch the river??……… clean and redo deck…plant flowers…redo rear deck…paint porch floor….cut grass…weed flowers….cut grass again…weed flowers again…repeat….repeat…BUT, still worth it

I hear ya. Nothing is easy, BUT, that spot is heaven on Earth! It’s a lot of work but it shows!
