Catherine LaPointe Vollmer. Her work is so nice. I love the shadows in Old Man Island Tunnel, and the peek at the water is heavenly. Catherine also does illustration. She creates phenomenal travel posters (available for sale) and book covers (and more!) – This is stunning:
I love fine art, but I also love travel posters – vintage (or vintage like) posters have a special appeal. They strike a chord with me – and I always pay special attention. It’s a special style, on that Catherine has mastered!

I prefer to focus on beauty close-in, on the textures and tones found within something simple. I enjoy showing others details that they might not have noticed otherwise. To find a new way to look at something familiar. I often take on fine art commissions such as portraits, landscapes, and gifts. I am comfortable working in watercolor, pastel, ink, and mixed media. I typically choose my medium based on what I think will best represent the subject matter.
