I remember this photo being taken. That’s me on the left and my sister with the blonde hair on the right. Look at the joy in her face. She was so thrilled to meet Santa.

I was in a bit of a flux because I loved my outfit. We matched. A purple’ish wool plaid skirt and matching top. I was DISTRAUGHT that I had to put on leggings (unlike the leggings of today, they were thick – for the cold Michigan winters). WHY couldn’t I have my photo taken WITHOUT the darn leggings? Apparently I got over it. Maybe it was the magic of meeting Santa, and what a cool Santa he was!

PS The 1967 on the wreath must be a prank, I’m sure that was supposed to be 1987 #winkwink
