Oh! This view is a stunner every time we see it. Always changing but always spectacular. Bowens Island Restaurant is in a prime location in Charleston – the view from everywhere is breathtaking. It’s a little like being back in time and quite far from the hustle and bustle of everyday living – even though you aren’t far from it all.

I took this photo a while back – we haven’t eaten out since the pandemic began, but the memories are good ones! Bowens Island is always a favorite place to bring people when they visit – #cantwaittoreturntonormal #whateverthatmaybe

Check out the links above! Bowens Island has the best fried shrimp ever! Thinly battered and absolute perfection. I am not a oyster eater but it looks… interesting (although I’m not quite sure why people eat something wiggly that is inside a shell that you should probably wear gloves to open to prevent cutting yourself). I’ll do the work to get a pistachio out of its shell, but an oyster? Naahhhh, I’ll save those for the rest of you! ;)
