I love when new homes look like older homes in well established neighborhoods, especially when there are also mature trees. How nice to have all the modern conveniences, yet have the illusion of an older home. You just can’t beat it! This home is another example of fine architecture.
This is the Sadie Spring Retreat house plan (SL1957) by C. Brandon Ingram for Southern Living. This plan is 1,806 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Let’s take a peek at the plan…
First off, notice all the porches. One in the front, one on the side, a very generous one in the back off of both the kitchen/dining area and another off of the master suite. Pretty exquisite to have outdoor living space like that in addition to a well thought out living space.
You enter this home and enter an open great room that leads to the open kitchen/dining area. On the left side of the home are two suites that share a bath and a lovely side porch. #whatadream On the right side of this home is the master suite – bedroom, bathroom and closet with a laundry area tucked just outside the bedroom, it couldn’t be more convenient! Also notice the fireplace in the great room – adds nice ambiance and heat during the chilly months.
Those of you who are familiar with C. Brandon Ingram’s designs know how fabulous they are. Take a peek, if interested you can purchase the plan via the “Details of this plan” link below. (I make no money off of the plans I share)…
