Trying to beat the sun rising was the tricky part. I think I stopped too many times for photos and I got a bit behind. Thank you, Steven for capturing the sunset (and this photo)!

Thank you to Fred for sticking with me when I know you would have liked to have been at the top much earlier. The view is to die for. The peace and tranquility is what you realize you need so badly once you’re there.

Another reason why a sunrise hike is my favorite, you get up and go. Then when you get back, you take a nice steam shower and enjoy a hearty breakfast. #lifeissogood I mean, truly, what could be better?
