Morning Walk – Charleston, SC

charleston, sc, legate street, tradd street, horse and carriage, tourist, guide to give you the scoop.
Corner of Tradd St & Legare St, Charleston, SC

It’s so refreshing to get out and walk somewhere different. We have a few different routes or places that we walk but every once in a while it’s like a mini vacation to drive a few miles away, park and get out and walk somewhere different. It opens your perspective and we see fresh ideas. Plants, flowers, etc.

We turned down Legare St., as a carriage passed down Tradd St. I snapped a quick photo. This photo is so… Charleston! Helpful hint to tourists who pass and see a cute little ball with a flag in the street – it’s a marker for the cleanup crew after the horse has passed. 😉

If you ever have the opportunity to walk around Charleston, I highly recommend it. Take your time, bring water, map out the bathrooms, come during cooler weather (or at least not too hot), take breaks, pop into a cafe or restaurant and refresh. There is literally so much to do here!

👩‍💻 Until next time…
