I love weather. Always have. My grandpa would stand on the front porch during storms, he loved weather – I would join him (if I could get past my grandma). Since moving to MI we have experienced a range of different weather which is so refreshing- I do know the cold is coming soon – I also know that this will be more of an “introductory winter” due to El Niño at least through December according to what I just read.

It’s been an exciting several weeks moving from Charleston, SC to Michigan. We have ventured out nearly every day (of course gas goes sky high now, jeez!) – we have found many treasures. The library, Neff Park (where I took this photo from), Nino Salvaggios (love!), the Ford House (quick visit, going back again this week)!

Thankful for these times. I’m sure we’ll slow down at some point, but for now, while we can, we’re getting out and having a big time. We do miss our Charleston friends, but have met some really nice people here.
