Stunning, right? We always stop for shrimp at Crosby’s Seafood right before you get to Folly Beach (Charleston, SC). We run in, pick up our shrimp, then I have to run out and get a photo or two. There is literally ALWAYS something breathtaking to look at.

There is nothing better than the deck party at Crosby’s Seafood… where you can grab a plate of fried shrimp and sit on the dock… its a great time especially around the time of sunset when you can get some amazing photographs! This photo happened to be taken earlier in the day… Crosby’s has fresh shrimp, fish and oysters as well as bait, beer and ice! Check it out if you’re in the area!

Well, as unbelievable as it is… it’s about time to hit the beach! This weather can’t possibly last… warm temps, near 80… makes it a nice time to hit the beach with Charlie… Since he can’t go in the summer (unless it’s before 10AM or after 6PM) we like to go in the spring and fall, anytime before May 1 or after September 30th, then they can go any time of day.
I still remember the first time he went… he was scared of everything, the sand, the wind, THE WAVES! But then he got his feet wet, and started chasing the waves, now when we go he jumps right in, no matter the temperature!

We have the coolest restaurants in Charleston, SC. Some are fancy and expensive, some are cheap and bare bones… then we have some really creative people that come up with the coolest concepts. As Holly Herrick described Jack’s Cosmic Dogs “where the Jetson’s meets “Happy Days”!” The other day when we were there we each got a hotdog, shared (which was hard because they were really good) fries, coleslaw and an iced tea. MMMMM, I am thinking of a Taco Boy salad right now… sure sounds tasty, it’s much more than “just a salad”, it’s an experience! Really. Oooolala, with those tasty thin tortilla chips and a side of guacamole, ohmygosh! A treat that can’t be beat!
