Barbara, I had to laugh over the last two posts about Lizzies. That is exactly what we call them in our family. I think I must have a zillion in my yard. Between my daughters and me, we have 4 miniature Dachshunds. They are all fierce Lizzie hunters. I think my 2 would be on the hunt 24/7 if I would let them. It is a lot of fun to watch them on the hunt. Their little tails wag in anticipation of the catch. I always intervene on behalf of the Lizzie, but sometimes the keen hunter instinct of the Doxie wins in spite of my best efforts.

hee hee, they change color based on what they’re near, it’s fun to watch them… they also have a bubble at times underneath, near throat that expands and is bright red, which is so beautiful when they’re near green (they turn bright green)… funny creatures…
