Sunset: St. Philip’s Church

St. Philip’s Church – Charleston, SC – This photo was taken several years ago in January approaching sunset. The color of the light on the church is magnificent. I also love the shadows from the homes reflected on the buildings on the right side of the image.

All the stripes from the cross-walks add to the interestingness of this image to me.

St. Philip’s Church is magnificent! There is also a beautiful cemetery that goes back for generations. It’s like going back in time. There is so much history in Charleston, SC – it’s amazing! The street curves around the church and continues on towards “The Market” area where locals setup to display and sell their goods. We haven’t been through there in ages!
