Cathedral of St. John the Baptist – Charleston, SC

Fred and I headed downtown last week for a quick lunch at G&M (AKA “Fast and French) – never a disappointment there! We parked and walked to the restaurant, and I was able to get a few photos taken on the way. It was very bright, so lighting isn’t the best, but I think this image shows the magnitude of this building. It is simply stunning both inside and out. The history is incredible.

Take a minute to appreciate all the intricacies. How in the world did they do this so long ago?
