This is the Calhoun Mansion located in Charleston, SC. This exquisite home was built in 1876. It remains a private residence, HOWEVER, this is a private residence that you can tour. It’s a VERY popular tour, and let me tell you… if you’re in Charleston visiting, you do not want to miss this (not even if you live here, like me!) This home is so massive (24,000 square feet) that the photos cannot do it justice. You must see it to believe it. Stunning in every sense of the word!

I have never seen so much stuff in one house. I was in the Calhoun mansion years ago and it was attractive. That looks like an antique store exploded inside the house.
