Charleston, South Carolina has more than beautiful architecture and good food – the plants and flowers are abundant. Right now, blooming like crazy are the camellias. So many different variations it can make your head spin!

This red and white variety is stunning – I also love the light pink! Each camellia bush will be hanging heavy with blooms, they fall to the ground and make a beautiful skirt around the bush. Some have been here a long, long time (this one in our neighborhood).
