I love a screened porch! Especially when doors open onto it, which can fill your home with the scent of spring air (at least right now!) It’s a nice place to kick back and relax and extends the footprint of your house with living space (even though it’s not counted in the square footage) that feels comfortable a good bit of the year (depending where you live). This is one sweet plan!

This is the Carriage Run Cottage (18318) house plan by Allison Ramsey Architects. This plan is 972 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It’s got such great curb appeal!

This house plan has a sweet front porch and an amazing, 10′ deep screened side porch that opens into the dining area – this is an open plan that works nicely! I would use a door with a lot of glass in the kitchen to bring that light right on in!

A master suite is located in the back of the house with another bedroom, with nearby bathroom, located in the front. This plan is less than 1,000 square feet, yet it feels so large. Be sure to check out the images (via the links above) of real homes – it helps to visualize just how great this plan is. #smallbutmighty

    1. According to the architects website, the plan is 972 square feet (as I listed) – there is a porch and a screened porch which total another 370 square feet (I just reread the details) – however, if you have any questions whatsoever, I highly encourage you to contact the architect (Allison Ramsey Architects), they’re an amazing group of talented people who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have. Hope this helps!
