**Wentworth House Plan by Yankee Barn Homes**

Style! Isn’t this fabulous? I love the pitch of the roof, and the fabulous wide windows! I also think the barn doors that close over the front doors are stunning AND useful! Whether it’s a snowstorm or a hurricane, (or if you’re just out of town) – extra coverage can be very nice! Nice 2 car garage with access via covered walkway.

This is the Wentworth House Plan by Yankee Barn Homes. This plan is 2,009 square feet with 4 bedrooms (primary down) and 2.5 bathrooms. This looks like a pretty open plan. I like that the primary bedroom is downstairs, with a nice walk in closet and nearby laundry room.

For us, I would probably use the living area as the dining area. I like the back of the house area in the evenings – the coziness, so that’s where I would move the living area. Our current home is an older home, not an open concept, which we like. We have moved our dining room into the “living room” because that feels more natural to me. Unusual? Perhaps, but it looks amazing! We have a large Saarinen Tulip table and it takes space. #ilovetobedifferent 😉 I’m not sure if that’s possible with the fireplace in this plan. Although now, we have a fireplace in the dining room – it’s pretty cool if you ask me.

Upstairs there are three additional bedrooms and a shared bath, which is absolutely perfect. You see many homes built nowadays with a bathroom off of every bedroom. Sometimes, less is more.
