Sometimes the monotonous can become the highlight of the day. We were heading across the Ashley River Memorial bridge. As we were crossing the bridge after whatever errand we were running I saw the sky. Whoa. So stunning! This photo was taken coming from downtown Charleston, headed to the West Ashley side of Charleston (west of the Ashley river).

Apparently, I thought you needed to see it as well. The dark clouds, the lights on the bridge and the stunning orange of the sunset made for a gorgeous scene. Charleston, SC is full of beauty wherever you look. Spring is almost here, I see some blooms, and budding hydrangeas. It will be here before we know it!

Enjoy the rest of your weekend – take every opportunity to look for the little things in life. The sunrise or sunset. Flowers (if not outside, take a peek at the grocery store) – I swear flowers provide a sense of calm and happiness, and who couldn’t use that?
