Now this is a beautiful place to stop and take a breath. Look around, take a walk, grab some seafood to take home and cook or stop at one of the restaurants. You definitely have options. The ability to walk to the end of this fabulous dock, talk to people fishing, etc and hang out at the end watching boat, kayakers, etc. It’s so lovely. A must see for sure.

This photo was taken at Shem Creek Park (main entrance on map) on a day we were out and about running errands and thought taking in a beautiful view might be nice before heading home. So we hopped out of the car and *poof* had our view, took in the serenity, felt the calm and then headed home. A nice day.

This park has been here for a while and it’s always a joy to take a walk on it – we have a few areas we like to walk (other than around our neighborhood), this is one of them. Get out and enjoy the fresh air when you can it’s a treat!
