Several of the different walking routes we take pass by marsh – beautiful, elegant, back-in-time views where time slows down, the birds fly freely and life is peaceful. It’s a joy to watch. Since we were out walking (for fitness) I couldn’t dilly dally too long, so a quick snap is all I could get. Enjoy!

Now this is a beautiful place to stop and take a breath. Look around, take a walk, grab some seafood to take home and cook or stop at one of the restaurants. You definitely have options. The ability to walk to the end of this fabulous dock, talk to people fishing, etc and hang out at the end watching boat, kayakers, etc. It’s so lovely. A must see for sure.

Did you know that South Carolina has the most salt marshes on the East coast? A good bit of those marshes are located right here in Charleston County! It’s true! I love how they change with the seasons – and on days with clouds like this it’s absolutely stunning!

Out on walk the other morning 🙄 – I’m walking to my “fast walking” station on Spotify. I was zipping along until I stumbled (literally) upon this view. An artist friend of ours had an oyster roast back in 2006 when I snapped this photo. This is in Meggett, South Carolina. The beauty is unrivaled! Can you imagine seeing this everyday? Ahhhh! It just looks so relaxing!

Isn’t this a sight to behold? Behind our house we have something that’s called the WEST ASHLEY GREENWAY… its roughly 10 miles long and is used as a hiking/biking trail. We are fortunate to have such beautiful views!
