So far, 2026 is proving to be a motivational, “get things done” kind of year. From drawers to moving furniture around (again) and the subsequent cleaning that comes with each move, it’s exciting to be in the same house, yet have it feel so different. Future 2026, make a shift from white walls to walls with color? We’ve always loved saturated color, darker colors. Then made a change to all white. Fresh. Now, it’s getting tiresome. …the great art we have hanging. It seems to show off best with color on the walls. MATLOCK (the current show with Kathy Bates) has inspired me with the stunning all blue room with great art. Greens and blues are the vibe right now. I/we could so easily get into great wallpaper, but what we like is très cher (very expensive). But, of course it is!

It feels good to get things vacuumed when there is nothing on the rugs. It’s exhilarating to me, to enliven a room with the simple movement of furniture. It’s also ok to make your living room your dining room and vice versa. It works so much better for us! Enjoy your space. I’ve moved my furniture around since I was a kid and had the ability to move anything by myself. I came up with more configurations than I could have imagined. What fun!
